Let me get this out of the way first in the hope the publisher will see it and correct it!! The Kindle version of this book has a TON of editing errors. Misspelled words, punctuation placed in the wrong places, the wrong words in many places. It looks like they put the paperback through a OCR machine which misinterpreted a lot of things, spit out a digital copy and no one bothered to proof read it. If you need someone to proofread the digital copies, let me know and I would love to help you.As for the story: I really liked it. I thought the characters were interesting and the story was fast paced and entertaining. The Edge books are truly the most violent western series I have ever read. There is a warning at the beginning of the book that states: "WARNING! This Story is not for the Faint-hearted reader.". That is not an idle boast. Edge murders people that get in his way, he beats up women, he lies, cheats and steals. Edge is a vicious sociopath who truly does not care about another living soul. The books are well written and sometimes the violence and the utter uncaring nature of Edge is very cathartic, sort of like the Purge series of movies.

Entertaining if you like westerns
love edge. would help if you proofread the scan into eBook as many small grammatical misreads from OCR but still a great read
protagonist is unrealistically savage. Way too many misprints. Needs spell check badly.
Gratuitous violence + cheesy one-liners + spaghetti western = awesomeness.
note there is an awful lot of errors but did not deter from the enjoyment.
It was a e good book to read. It seem like the main character Edge was getting into one situation after another. Will continue to read the series.
Another brilliant western from the guy who hails from piccadilly, England.
I have seen reviews that say this is too violent - particularly in the way that our hero (?) shows a disregard for women.
What do people want from a western? My advice? If you want a romance, don't buy any book written by this guy.
However book that will match the action stuff we now get on tv, pick up anything by George G Gilman - just one of the pseudonyms for Terry Harnett.
Personally, I love this series and look for the new one almost daily.
Second book in the series wasn't quite as violent and definitely a good story. Edge comes across an old man who once was an outlaw & tells him about ten thousand American dollars that he & his fellow band of outlaws hid after a stage coach robbery. The old man is the only surviving member of the band & tells Edge that the secret to finding the money is the ring he wears. Thus begins a journey to find it. The obstacle in Edge's path is El Matador & his blood-thirsty gang who are determined to use him and the old man to get the prize first. It's a race to the finish & you can guess who wins...or does he???
